1. About Us

This website is operated by Profanity Pots (“we”, “us”, “our”).

We sell handmade pottery products online.

2. Products

All items sold by Profanity Pots are handmade. As a result:

  • Slight variations in colour, size, shape and finish are normal

  • Images are for guidance only and may differ slightly from the final product

These variations are not considered faults.

 

3. Profanity & Offensive Language

Our products may contain explicit, profane, humorous or offensive language.

By purchasing from Profanity Pots, you confirm that:

  • You are 18 years or older, or have permission from a parent/guardian

  • You understand and accept the nature of the language used

  • You are not purchasing on behalf of someone who may be offended

We accept no responsibility for offence caused by the wording on our products.

 

4. Prices & Payment

  • All prices are shown in GBP (£)

  • Prices include VAT where applicable

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of order

  • We reserve the right to change prices at any time

  

5. Orders

  • Orders are subject to acceptance and availability

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for any reason

  • If we cancel an order, a full refund will be issued 

 

6. Personalised & Custom Items

Custom or personalised items (including bespoke wording) cannot be returned or refunded, unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

Please double-check spelling and wording before placing your order. We are not responsible for customer errors.

 

7. Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or couriers

  • Risk passes to you once the item has been delivered

 

8. Returns & Refunds 

Non-custom items may be returned within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, provided:

  • The item is unused and in its original condition

  • You contact us before returning the item

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or damaged.

  

9. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos.

We will offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.

  

10. Care & Use

Our pottery is intended for domestic use only.

Unless stated otherwise:

  • Items may not be dishwasher, microwave or oven safe

  • Improper use may result in damage or injury 

We are not liable for damage caused by misuse.

 

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including designs, text, images and product wording, remains the property of Profanity Pots.

You may not copy, reproduce or resell our designs without written permission

 

12. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

  • Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the item

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
